Dance with IOM and Badriya Oriental Dance School

As part of the latest edition of the KvARTal Festival, IOM organized four oriental dance workshops. The ladies were trained in Rax Sharqi, Saidi and Khalidji dance styles by Violeta Valcheva (Badriya Oriental Dance School), a certified Oriental dance instructor and performance artist. In cooperation with the Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria, a session was organized specifically for refugee women. Aside from the rhythm of the music, participants enjoyed oriental dishes made by Bistro Karisto and get henna tattoos in the body art pavilion provided by UNHCR.
